Weird Action Jackson

I got this in this week and I am at a lost. I got a lot of what was marked as Vintage Action Jackson. I could place everything but this item:



I wasn't worrying about the outfit, because the figure was worth the cost. I am just confused about this outfit. Makes him look like a skinny Santa.

And the mystery is solved. The jump suit is from Big Jim Pilot Jumpsuit. When I got this the outfit was off so there was not telling that this was not part of the Action Jackson line.

My first thought was that it is very reminiscent of the Mystery Man. The suit looks a lot like it (except the color) as do the boots as I recall. Not so much the belt, but if I recall the Mystery Man had some belt variations including a no belt version. As the Mystery Man intrigues the hell out of me for some reason. Not to get my hopes up,but could the Big Jim connection help with the Mystery Man mystery? I know next to nothing about Big Jim so maybe I am way off here.
