    I like my 6' 1:1 scale figure instead ...

Who am I kidding. I already have the folks at Big B on notice that I want a case of Remego Captains. And if the good folks at Odeon don't put me on the list for every variant possible then there might be trouble next time I head down the 401

Seriously Sam, a blank sketch cover variant card with just the logos so I can get my fav artist to do custom cards!

Our main focus is to get the first "classic" Canuck figure produced, out to the distribution channels and into your hands. Although we are excited about the possibilities beyond that, including variants and con exclusives.

Captain Canuck has had an incredible, overwhelming response ever since we debuted the limited edition figure at last year's Niagara Comic Con. Marty and the other Mego North guys can attest, I've been doing toy and comic shows almost every weekend since fall of last year with the prototype on display, and nothing gets as much inquiries and attention as Canuck.

We Canadians (myself excluded of course ) are generally a humble bunch, but I think a character like Captain Canuck and the recent Gold Medals at the Winter Olympics are some of the few times we really allow our national pride shine through a bit. Even those who are not aware of the Captain Canuck character, think it's really cool that we have a national patriotic superhero.

What continues to surprise and delight me the most however, is the positive responses we get from our friends south of the border. I wasn't really expecting much interest from Americans to be honest, other than as a novelty or an extra Mego head for customs (and some good natured ribbing at Mego Meet). I didn't realize that the original Canuck comics were distributed so widely as it was in the United States or that so many Americans were actually members of the Captain Canuck club way back in the day!
