Is there a place to post your collections?

Hi everyone. I brand spanking new to this awesome forum. Looking forward to getting to know lots of you as I build my Mego collection in the years to come. I've looked around and haven't seen a thread for posting collection pics. Is there a dedicated thread for that or do you just start your own?

Thanks. Somehow I missed that. Every forum is just a bit different in layout.

I must be blind. Where is Toyroom Central? I haven't felt like a noob to a forum in a long time.

I think either a number of posts is required or a certain amount of time as a member before you can gain access to the Toyroom Central. Just post your collection in this thread for now, no one will shoot you for it.

Toyroom Central magically appears after a few posts, I can't remember how many but you'll see it soon.

Thanks for them welcomes and the help everyone. I'm always a bit nervous when I join a new forum because I've had a couple of bad experiences elsewhere being a noob in the past. I recently got bitten buy the Mego bug. I've always loved Mego and they were a bit of a sideline when other lines I collect got stale. But I think they'll become a main focus in the future. Something just "clicked" lately and Mego is where it's at now. I also love a lot of the newer Remego figures I see everywhere.

Here's is my tiny Mego collection. Right now it's all Hulk. Hulk is my favorite comic character and Mego Hulks fit right in with that collection. The loose 12" Hulk is my childhood figure. He's been around for lots of years and has seen me through life either on the front lines being played with or sitting up on a shelf as I got older. Oh the stories he could tell. LOL The MOC and boxed Hulks came together in a smoking good deal a couple of years ago. The 8" MOCs bubble is mostly detached and the figure could be removed but I've never taken him out. The 12" boxed Hulk has a sticker with a store code for Consumers Distributing on it. I'd loved to figure out what store it was sometime for fun. The Pocket Heroes Hulk came off Ebay last year and replaces my lost childhood one.

Not much yet but it's a start of a new toy addiction......I mean collection.

The size of your collection doesn't matter, it's how much you enjoy it that's the main thing.
                          So you're doing great.
If I can give one piece of advice, try to find something to focus on. My collection is "just about everything SciFi/horror", which has eventually become "the neverending story".
So focus. In your case, this might be "green monsters!"
How about Creature from the Black Lagoon?
                          Green Goblin?

Thanks for the advice. It's actually awesome advice for anyone new to any area of collecting. I've tried to "focus" before and failed badly at it. Every time I add a new line to my toy room I end up wanting EVERYTHING!!!!! But this time I'm going to try, key word TRY and start out collecting figures I had when I was a kid. But I'm sure to get distracted by Planet Of The Apes, Dukes Of Hazzard, etc etc. But I'm going to try hard. I also find if you have a narrower focus you don't get burned out as badly.

And thanks to everyone for the warm welcomes.

Nice stuff. There's no "wrong" way to collect. As long you enjoy what your collecting and stay within your budget, it's all good.
