Video Introduction to the Columbus Toy Show

I can't say I know the guy behind this video, but I think it does a great job of highlighting our local toy show. His video is from the spring 2013 show and the 2014 one is a little more than a month away. You'll never recognize me, but my back gets 1.5 seconds of fame somewhere in the middle. A couple of other Museum guys are also shown.

His experiences mirror mine and why I'm happy to be a toy collector.

    great looking show!

Looks like a great space as well. As a vendor, I'd sure appreciate those big wide aisles! Especially with cosplayers in attendance. Give them enough room to pose and do their thing, while not blocking your table or the entire aisle.

I am so torn between going to this and the Lexington Comic con. Both are equidistant from me, just not enough disposeable income to do both I'm afraid. I've been and exhibited at comic cons quite a bit, but I've never been to a real toy show. This may have to be the year I go.
I almost had a psychic girlfriend but she dumped me before we met.

If anyone here believes in psychokinesis, please raise my hand.

If you're on the fence, keep in mind that this is the last go-round at Veterans Memorial before it is demolished. A new facility will be built in its place, but there's no guarantee that the show will return once that happens. For you diehards attending Mego Meet, the Fort Rapids Columbus show hits again June 8th as well. It's a good show too. CTS productions also plans to expand to Cincinnati this year, possibly to fill the void from the Vets closure.

Oooh, if it comes to Cinci, I'm so there. Still tempted to make that last Columbus show.

It looks like a great show, too long a commute for me but I wish it was closer.

Neat vid. Looks like a great show. So many SW toys!!
You are a bold and courageous person, afraid of nothing. High on a hill top near your home, there stands a dilapidated old mansion. Some say the place is haunted, but you don't believe in such myths. One dark and stormy night, a light appears in the topmost window in the tower of the old house. You decide to investigate... and you never return...
