Toy Hunter Doctor Who Question

Hello. Just watched tonight's Toy Hunter. I really enjoyed it. However I have a question. Jordan found an Italian Doctor Who figure. They said it was a 7-inch figure. I thought it would be 8-inch like the BBP reMego figures.

However, I looked on the Mego Museum Doctor Who page and it said the British Doctor Who figures where 10-inches. The Mego Museum page has a picture of a boxed Italian Doctor that looks like the one on the show.

Did they use an 7-inch body in Italy or was it a verbal slip on the show? Or did I just hear "7-inch" wrong? Remember, I know almost nothing about vintage Mego so feel free to talk down to me.

Caught that, too. Do you think he literally meant the bodies are 7" tall? Add the head and they're 8" tall.

I loved the little Micronauts shout-out in the episode. I think every episode this season has mentioned Mego.

Thanks all for the responses! I looked up the Flash Gordon series in the Mego Museum Gallery. Those figures look awesome.

Anybody know the reasoning behind experimenting with the 10-inch (9 1/2-inch) body? I can easily see Mego doing the 12-inch figures (for Blackhole and such) because that was the classic G.I. Joe scale and Kenner was using it for Star Wars roundabout that time. But where did 10-inch come from?
