I have been a lurker here for a few months, gathering information for my Ebay auctions, and I just wanted to thank this site and everyone involved for the help. I'm 38 and I loved my Megos, micronauts, Star Wars etc. as a child, and this site has really sparked my interest again. It's too bad that times are so tough, as now I want to keep everything!!! I am sure that when things are better, I will buy everything all over again.

Looking through the gallery, I am remembering all the things that I had at one time and no longer have. I had a jokermobile and a batcopter, which are nowhere to be found. I also had the mangler, the exploding tower with inviso-plane, and the exploding bridge from the smaller line. Man, what memories. I also had the supervator, but now all I can find are the velcro cards and the oven mitt. I could never figure out the reason for that toy as a child, and I am glad to hear that nobody here could figure it out either.

Well, thanks everyone. I am sure I will post again, even though I am a casual collector at best. By the way, I love all the custom work you guys have done. Too cool.

Thanks for introducing yourself Lee. Sorry you had to sell, but please keep posting and reliving the memories here on the forums. Most of us have that common bond of not just Megos but the era in which they were popular.

Thanks guys. Man, the memories this site brings back. In the late 70's, I had a friend that would come over to play that had a good number of mego's that I didn't have, so when we got together, we had maybe 3/4 of the entire line in front of us. Good times. We would also trade constantly, so Iron man, Green Goblin and Aquaman were kind of communal figures for us. I never COULD get his Thor from him though.

I wish I still had those playsets from the smaller line. Exploding a bridge or chewing up a figure and spitting out a cardboard version of it are just a few things that you can't do with toys in this day and age.
