I can't wait to see how much he gets for this. With the popularity of the show these days, I'm constantly amazed that collectors still sell such rare items to Jordan knowing what he's probably going to get for them.

Looks like Mark is getting ready to bite his ear off and make a run for it.

Looks great. I always am amazed at how new looking some GWS boxes look after almost 40 years.
          It's all good!

Now I'm confused... Toy fair is a Manufactorer/Dealer show. It's not open to the public. You have to be a retailer. As far as I know it's not your average run of the mill Toy show where we can all go in and buy and sell... It's a display show... Am I wrong? So how would you be able to go in and purchas a vintage piece such as this?

when Jordan was here for my episode - he mentioned he had a lead on an aqua man - and great white shark set

I wonder if this is the one he was trying to nab.
either way - its very cool to see this set

from the picture its much bigger than I thought it would be.
can't wait to see it on the big screen tv!

I'm sure the IRS would like a piece of that sales transaction.

Insane. I too pictured it as smaller than this picture.

I knew about this too, even know the seller.

BTW Toyfair is an amazing place to network for old toys, lots of former Mego people there. Also, industry types like inventors and sculptors often buy and catalog toys for their archives.

You're right on all counts. It wouldn't be a problem for Jordan & Friends to receive credentials, but it has nothing to do with buying/selling vintage toys. In fact, the Toy Fair rules even state: Unauthorized solicitation on the premises by non-exhibiting manufacturers and/or suppliers is strictly prohibited.

Maybe there's an actual "toy show" going on in the same neighborhood as Toy Fair? Or as Brian said, a private transaction...

Trust me, it's just a back drop for a prearranged meet up. Knowing what I know, this doesn't surprise me.

                          LMAO. Thank you.
I thought Toy Fair was a retailer/manufactures event. The photo looks more like a vintage toy show.

Just a glitch from the changeover. Ignore it, your post should go through fine. Also, if you try to edit, the "Save" just seems to hang, but that goes through too.
