What is your favorite part of the Mego Museum website?

I absolutely love this site. I check it every day. For some reason, it has a very calming effect on me (I'm pretty laid back already, though!).

But this is my favorite part of the site (regarding the Montgomery Ward Secret Identity figures):

The KEY to identifying Alter-Egos is that they have NO copyright stamp on the back of the neck.

Editor's Note: If you are currently experiencing an alteration of your ego, please take a deep breath. Remember that you are a living organism on the planet Earth. You need oxygen, water, food and shelter to survive. When you pass away, you will either enter a realm of eternal happiness, eternal damnation, or nothing at all. Either way, chances are there will be no questions about whether or not you possessed four Montgomery Ward's toys at one point in your meaningless life. Saint Peter, Beelzebub, or Ayn Rand may have a number of questions for you, but the staff at the Mego Museum assure you that your place as a sentient being in the Milky Way galaxy is in NO WAY dependent on the possession of these cultural artifacts. This statement has no universal legitimacy if we are wrong, but we have bet our souls on it. Thank you for your attention. In Mego We Go.

To be 100% honest, my favourite part is the forums ......
(I love the gallerys to death and look at them regularly)

But, the Mego Museum forums are PERFECTION.....

We have no trolls, the moderation is PERFECT ... and it's just a pleasure to visit and gab here.

    Gotta love this place !!!!!!!!

For me its the gallary (Oh the memories ) and the forum. (In particular the Replica chat room.)

It was the new Start Trek Replicas that reignited my interest in Mego and eventually lead me here to this site.

Not really being a great customizer nor being rich enough to rebuy everything I had as a kid on E Bay, it is through the replicas that I can bring back that sense of childhood joy. Its the reason I have an OPEN *GASP Romulan and Andorian on top of my computer desk to admire and not a $1000 classic sealed MOC locked away.

The whole forum is great idea and I look forward to exploring more of the different rooms and past threads.
Lo there do I see my Father.
Lo there do I see my Mother and my Sisters and my Brothers.
Lo there do I see the line of my people back to the begining.
            Lo they do call me.
They bid me take my place among them.

My favorite part is probably th information that is shared. If you have a question it's usually answered within minutes. A close second is the friendships that I have made here. Over the years I've met some pretty amazing people who I proudly call friends.

I'd have to say the forums too. The museum itself is THE best comprehensive toy source on the internet, and I lurked there for years before ever posting here. But once I did, I encountered the best online community in existence. This place is indeed the best, most civil place to discuss hobbies on the net. Sure there are flare-ups from time to time, but the Mego Museum Forums are 99.9% troll-free. There's just good people here, and great people running it.

I love the forums the best. There are rarely any flame wars and the people who visit and post are great, very knowledgeable and friendly. And very talented, too.

I consider the forums and Museum to be separate things. The forums and people are great and are the heartbeat of the site.

My favorite part of the Museum is the Library. I love the catalogs, trade ads and interviews. It keeps growing and building on our knowledge thanks to Brian's work.

I'm glad you liked that AE blurb I wrote. I think I was channeling Bill Hicks that night.

                          If we're separating-
The people are easily the best thing about the forums. I come here almost every day, yet I have already learned so much about Megos. Its the discussion on so many other things or just having a conversation with so many cool peeps.

The Museum, which I love perusing from time, is still a great place on ots own. I'd have to agree about the library. Whether through the interviews, the catalog information or old ads, I feel I've really gained an insight into how the Mego Corporation thought and grew (and then died).

If the forums aren't included ....

My fav part is all these new updates that's been going on...

All these new Canadian updates have been driving me wild
I might not post all that much about them, but i've been eyeballing them in the galleries over and over and over
