    Male Jordache Figure Equals...

No, I'm not going to bring up that whole Dr Strange thing again. I just picked one up and thought how odd he looked. In fact, he looks 20 years Jordache girl's senior! It's kind of creepy Maybe he impressed her with his rusted out 72 Impala? That or maybe the fact he works in film. Sure, he's just a best boy';s assistant. It's the best he could get after doing a little porn in the early 70's.

This may have been discussed previously - but I had read or heard somewhere that Mego had originally planned to release a Dr. Strange figure, that a headsculpt was created before the idea was shelved and that this sculpt was later used as part of Mego's Jordache figure line. Now, I mean, come on - this guy (http://rover

And I do agree- he's clearly 12" Comic Supes with an awesomely bad 'stache.

Mego never really seemed to make any in roads into the fashion doll market. Yes, They had some nice celebrity dolls, like Cher, but they never really competed with Barbie in any kind of meaningful way. They weren't the same scale, couldn't use the same clothes and the Cher doll's large almost clawed like hands made them really hard to dress for little kids. Their attempt at the Barbie market with Candi and Jordache were quite bad and they obviously put very little effort into them.
You are a bold and courageous person, afraid of nothing. High on a hill top near your home, there stands a dilapidated old mansion. Some say the place is haunted, but you don't believe in such myths. One dark and stormy night, a light appears in the topmost window in the tower of the old house. You decide to investigate... and you never return...
