I only have 3 carded megos and only because I got really good deals on them... a Pin Pin Spiderman for $66 a Cloth Emblem Batman(My Favorite Mego Personally)for $230 and a Palitoy Hulk from Marvelmania price unknown because it was a bundle package deal.
I hate Carded Megos!!! I hate carded toys period! The toy manufactueres knew what they were doing when they went to sealed cards. Defenitly done to boost sales, like my Brother told me why he buys 3 of everything, 1 to open 1 to Display and 1 to resell.Comment

The cloth emblem batman is 1979 correct? because it is my fav. and i still have my original one with cloth emblem intact.(elmers glued of course.)Comment

My 9yr old loves the Arhkam figures. He thinks my megos are cool and all, he just likes the other formats. But i'm happy to report he is setting something up for spidey and lizzard right now. I definitely need a GG now.Comment

Everyone is different concerning what they enjoy about the hobby. If you are a person that only enjoys having the figures to play with then I say more power to you. I for one enjoy the figures and the packaging they come in. Being an artist myself I am a sucker for nice card/box art. I collect Mego, Star Wars and several other lines but would not open any carded or boxed figure for any reason unless the packaging was in very poor condition. Not for monetary value but for sentimental value. I could care less about the monetary value of the figures. Regretfully I have sold carded and boxed figures in the past ( including a close to case fresh unpunced Iron Man and Romulan and a very nice Kresge RC Batman ) in tight times but I never plan to sale anything like that again. So it just depends on what it means to you. If you ejoy them better open then go for it... open it. Some of us though enjoy the packaging too on vintage and new figures.Comment

I love the packaging probably as much as the figures themselves as i'm sure alot of us do. It wasn't easy to do hell i had it 5 yrs. I dont regret it a bit. I'll just buy an american carded one.Comment

I think it's a waste to own a toy and never open it and play with it. That's just me.Check out my website: Megozine Covers - HomeComment

I know its his but it seems like a waste, the pics in your gallery are not to clear, but it did not look like a bad card. So it was worth 100-150. Loose spideys can be had real cheap. 20-40. So that is kind of a shame.I would have gladly given you a very nice loose spidey and some cash just to keep it in the pack.Comment

I opened My Joker that was on a standard card. But in my defense...the card was really old and brittle, it practically fell of when I did decide to open him. I don't regret it...I had to hold that MINT condition Joker in my hands!sigpicComment
