Yes, the WOZ figures have pretty impressive sculpts.

Really,The Waltons too. I mean look at the head sculpts on Zeb and John Sr. As for me,my vote goes to the Black Knight.

There is of course a difference between what Mego figure is your personal favourite and what can truly be described objectively as the 'Best Ever Made' by the company. Standing back and judging purely on visual impact, level of detailing and authenticity to source material I would choose the 'Best' as the deluxe MOONRAKER 007 figure and the STAR TREK THE MOTION PICTURE 12 Inch Klingon. As much as I love many figures from the WGSH line, POTA and many others these two really stand out for me. Also not anywhere near being a fan and actually know very little of the band I would also offer KISS as a line worthy of merit too.

Easy. The Human Wolfman. If for no other reason than the "Wolf-Like" head sculpt. That sculpt was decades ahead of its time. While all the movies of that time, as well as before, kept using the Universal style Wolfman head, mego went outside the box with a more wolf than man sculpt. Even the other toys of that time period kept the Universal style. Now all movies being made have the more wolf-like heads. Mego was the first!

The Flash Gordon line is beautiful and probably Mego's most intricate line. I only own the Zarkov, but from the pics I've seen, they are just gorgeous, and approaching collector-style figures of today.

Well, I hate to break it to you all, and I'll let you all down easy. You're ALL WRONG. (Especially those of you who chose the Falcon- he sucks). The best figure that Mego ever made is Ivanhoe. Come on. Admit it. You all know he's the best. Great head sculpt, great accessories, great everything! You're all probably feeling a little embarrassed right now for being wrong, but don't worry- its cool. I'll give some leeway to those who chose Green Arrow. He's awesome... But come on- let's face it- Ivanhoe was the best Mego ever did. Followed in close second by Robin Hood....

The Knights line really is something. One of these days I need a minty set of originals. That Ivanhoe sculpt elevates him past even some of the others, which are all great (well, the tiny-headed Black Knight's a bit of a let down, but his helmet is cool).

The Wolfman. A very creative and different take than everyone else was doing at the time.
You are a bold and courageous person, afraid of nothing. High on a hill top near your home, there stands a dilapidated old mansion. Some say the place is haunted, but you don't believe in such myths. One dark and stormy night, a light appears in the topmost window in the tower of the old house. You decide to investigate... and you never return...

The 12" Buck Rogers figures are very nice also, really nice costumes on those figures.

That's why I picked Black Knight as mine. I mean look at all of the extra pieces you get. He's got that little collar deal, the two shoulder guards, the shield, the sword and that cool helmet with the wings.
