Yeah, it's weird but PP's outfit is actually the same pattern as the AJ Secret Agent but in different colors. They must have been improvising with this.,Places to find PlaidStallions online: https://linktr.ee/Plaidstallions

I have that catalog! 1974 Montgomery Wards, right? Too cool."Do you believe, you believe in magic?
'Cos I believe, I believe that I do,
Yes, I can see I believe that it's magic
If your mission is magic your love will shine true."Comment

That is insanely awesome. Lots of comic swipes. Robin and Penguin look like Irv Novick's work, Riddler is of course from the classic Infantino/Anderson poster series from the 60s. Joker looks like an early Bob Kane/Jerry Robinson swipe! Superman is a Curt Swan swipe, and Mxy looks to be by Kurt Schaffenberger (same artwork Mego used). Batman is a direct swipe from the cover of Batman #257 (July/Aug, 1974) by Nick Cardy. The Penugin swipe (and possibly Robin) may have come from this issue too.

Super cool ad and makes me wish they made other outfits for the SIs. Like how they did for AJ. Imagine how great that could have been!Comment
