I'm not a MIB collector, so I'm not used to spending the BIG money. Most I've spent for a figure is $300.00.

$100-150.00 seems to be my normal limit for buying a figure and not feeling guilty about it. The few times I've gone over that (my max so far was $500 for a non-Mego figure that doesn't show up for sale very often), I sold off a few of my more common, less essential pieces to help fund the purchase (it makes me feel less guilty about spending a bunch of money on one figure).Comment

My limit is probably around $100, though these days even that's a bit much. I have more fun searching for lower-priced deals and hidden auctions, etc., anyhow. If I have the funds and I come across something like a complete playset, I'll go over that $100 limit. But generally I try to say under $100 for figures.Comment

By the time you factor in the cost of gas, internet connection fee, addmission to the toy show, breakfast , lunch ,and dinner, the position of the sun,a new purse for the wife, cat food, more cat food (because the one is really fat),if I have a coupon, wait a minute. What was the question again?Comment

For new unlimited/non-exclusive figures, $15 is my max. But since I've stopped collecting JLU and DC Direct, that's kind of moot. With the reproduction G.I. Joes from Hasbro I have top of at around $30 depending on the set. For exclusives I'll usuallly pay what I see the eBay average to be.
Since I only started buying vintage figures this past Christmas, it's a little harder to say. I did buy what was labelled as "mint condition" Shazam for $70 (repro boots, cape, emblem) and kind of regretted spending that much since about 2 weeks later I found another mint condition one for $30 (repro cape, emblem) and bought it. I've purchased a few more Megos and the average price seems to be $25-$30.
For something vintage that I have to have, $100.ScottComment

I'm not sure I have a limit. If it's something I really, really want, all bets are off. That said, there are only a few figures in my collection that I've paid more than $1,000 for, and I think my high limit thus far has been $1,200 for a single figure.--

I have no limit either. If I do so desire it will be mine no matter the cost involved.Enjoy what you like, and let others enjoy what they like. (C) Azrak 2009

For a single figure, I have never paid more than $80. (That does not include shipping.) I guess I would go as high as $100, depending on what the figure is. I've gotten some pretty sweet figures for less than $100, though. My boxed complete all original Green Arrow was only $77. Some may think that is too much, but I'm pretty psyched about that one!Comment
