What's you average budget for a must have figure?

I mean, if you really want to have it, and have a bit of extra money.

What would that max amount be in order for you to just buy it without thinking twice?

I'm talking your max at this present time.

My max and limit for one figure at a time seems to be about $300.

    How about you?

I had a max of a $1000, I was looking for the Superman made by ideal in 1939/40 and I found it for only $620...so I got some cash left over for wizard world and the next LA scifi convention.

At the present i'm totally tapped out, so for now my most to spend would be zilch.

A few years ago I would got about $80.00-ish on average as a top.

If its for something I am gonna keep, I guess I would spend what ever I have in my "play money" savings and/or liquidate a few pieces. My two LSU jerseys are at the top at $2100 for the pair framed. I purchased some mint carded BM and Robin and boxed Goblin from Dan last year, mostly because he needed the money for something VERY special, and I had just made a big flip.

If it is to flip something, I will pretty much spend anything within reason now I am alittle more gutsy when buying something to flip. $1500 is the most I have spent to flip something (Anri figures), but I was very close to buying a mint Hot Wheel collection of 175 redlines for $10,000, and the guy backed out at the last minute. The collection would have brought about $13-$15K broken up.

$100 is about my limit for almost any collectible that I'm interested in. Toy, record, knick knack, thingy mabob. Anything over that is just too hard to justify....

On the other side of this coin, I'm an avid junker. I also have a similar rule with things that I find. If I find an item for a dollar that is worth $100+, I find it hard to justify KEEPING it. I usually let it go. (I do break this rule from time to time)......

The most I've spent so far on a collectible was $750. That was for an Adam West Batman suit and half a Robin suit.

I've never spent more than $100 on a figure before shipping (well, there was that one time I said I spent $115 for a shipped figure, but hey, $15 isn't that far off for shipping).

I'd rather not say, repeating it out loud makes me question my sanity.

I'm at a point where I just save money for months on end, hoping to find that big piece.

The most I spent on a figure is $ 225 - I bought a AE Peter Parker (with repro outfit) from MegoSpidey (Derek).

It was hard for me to spend that much, but as a big Mego and Spiderman fan it was my MUST have figure. I never thought I would own one, so it was worth it!

Other than that - around $ 100 is my max.

I try to stash money away for a big item I really want. I have some money set aside now if I happen across a decent solid-box WGSH.

BTW, Matt, I love your avatar. I still have nto been able to figure where that Hulk one you had came from.
