Star Wars? Never heard of it..

It seems we weren't doing as bad in the SF 3 3/4" action figure department prior to what some Star Wars books would like us to believe.

Dude I totally love all these catalog pages you post, thanks. You give the gift of memories and knowledge about the hobby we all love. Then we get to yak about it.
My best friend had that Space 1999 ship. It was cool but he lost those figures quick and it was too small for micronauts and such. I had all the micronaut stuff except the Astro Station. I loved the Metal Men. There were so many little lines that came and went that were forgetable, not these. There's something about the weight of a solid metal figure that feels good in your hand. I know I had an astronaut and the rocket. The only other piece I remember is a figure with a blue chest and a head with like a Cyclops vizer on it. Loved that rocket, I would pretend it was the ship that the Six Million Dollar Man crashed in for some reason.

I'm probably the biggest Star Wars fan ever, and yet I want to scream when people claim SW invented the 3 3/4" format.

Yes! I received that spaceship for Christmas back in the 70s. I want it and I want it now....but don't want to pay for it. Actually, the picture is just fine.
If a Mego figure of God did not exist, it would be necessary for EMCE to invent him.
