My name is Caleb Zammit and I am the director for the Austin Toy Museum (opening 2015).
I am writing to you to introduce myself and the Museum. Our Mego display currently has a selection of the world greatest Heroes including the Wayne Foundation, all the first series trek megos, the first series planet of the apes (minus the gorilla... but we do have his clothes :/).
We will be seeking persons who worked on the Mego toy lines to contribute to the information plaques and audio files which will accompany the displays. If you have any contact information for such person's or wish to contact them on our behalf we would be very grateful.
In addition we would love to have a sponsor for the display who would be interested in helping us pay for the case in exchange for their name/organization information being displayed on the case, website and on the donor wall. Currently the Mego display is slated to be a wall display with a 8x4x2 case, but with additional funding it could become a 8x8x4 walk around display. This would also give us the ability to showcase the toys on dioramas.
If you have any questions, wish to donate (money or toys), or any suggestions please contact me here or at caleb at austintoymuesum.com
