Weird to see Hulk, Movie Spock and Elastic Superman together. That Superman looks awful.

      Articulated Realism....okay...!

"Weighs 3 1/2 pounds, so it's like holding a real baby". Hmmm.

        1. That's awful heavy for a young kid to hold

        2. If your "real baby" weighs 3 1/2 pounds, they are probably in an incubator!

So Mego's big idea of 1980 was stop innovating, and start copying everyone else?

See how that worked for them.

He looks like Superman after red kryptonite.

Those so would have rocked, I was ten in 1980 and there is no way I wouldn't have had Iguanos. I loved me some Micronaut aliens.

Didn't think I'd ever say it, but that's an ad that has nothing on it that interests me. Star Trek yes, but 12" I'll pass.

                    Hmmmm....

I know that there's debate as to wether or not Iguanos and Equestron were actually released; but I remember seeing the ad on tv. Would they advertise something on tv if it wasn't at least ready for release? My Mego ads tape has the ad for them too....

I remember that weird hopping gait Equestron has.

                    >So Mego's big idea of 1980 was stop innovating, and start copying everyone else?

Funny thing.... Iguanos reminds me a lot of the Terron figure from the old Super Joe line...

Was the Candi doll's head sculpt based on anyone ?

                      It seems to look familiar

Fabulous Fred musta really failed fast.

Reason being, I don't remember it at ALL.

They would not make a product "TV" unless it had major retail support meaning it had to be pre sold into stores before commercials air.

                          .

It's not a TV ad, it's a toy fair promo reel. A lot of those pieces are too long for tv running 35 sometimes 45 seconds, Neal Kublan told me that many of those items on the tape, never saw air time.
