    Kane County Toy Show

Haven't been for a while. Planning on going to the Oct. 27th show. Anyone been the last few years? Is it still a top show? Anybody attending this year? I have bought a lot of great pieces there over the years.

Have been the last 3 times and have not been disappointed buying or selling, biggest show I go to and already have my tables lined up... I am always in Prairie East building... how can you go wrong with 5 buildings of vintage toys!

Cool! I'll definitely be stopping to see ya Greg. Do you know if they still have the Saturday early bird admission, or is it just Sunday now? Couldn't find anything about Saturday on their web site.

I have every intention of going this year, had to miss the last one due to being hospitalized. I am fairly certain they did the Saturday admission at the last one, but I haven't been able to find any info about it for the October show either.

I've never been to the show before, although I have heard about it. I moved out here from SD recently, so before it was never really an option. I was wondering... is it was accessible to someone on a tighter budget, or should one just avoid it and save his meager pennies?

There is a little of everything for every type of toy collector. Yes, one booth may be heavy on high end stuff, but the booth right next too it may have newer affordable priced stuff. If you are within a fair driving distance it is worth just to window shop and talk with other collectors.

I will be arriving Friday afternoon. Staying at the Best Western across the street from the Holiday Inn that I believe is the official hotel the dealers meet at. I can call ya Greg when I get in if anyone is getting together for dinner, etc.

Unfortunately I will miss it (again!).

A little birdie told me that the Toy Hunter show will be filming there.
