    Huzzah my showroom stuff arrived!

I happily found a large but feather light box waiting for me at home which meant my winnings from the show room auction came in. The AJ box is way bigger than I remembered it, I'm not sure whether to frame it or buy an acrylic case.

    What would you guys do?

Frame it! I got my wife an unfolded Mego 12" Wonder Woman box for Christmas a few years back. We had it framed and it looks very nice!

Great grab Brian! The red on that box almost seems to leap off the screen!

            both are terrific additions,
but the AJ box is simply stellar!

Congrats Brian. I'm also thinking frame the AJ box. That way you can see all sides an it doesn't eat up shelf space.

              Nice haul!

That thing is so cool I almost didn't see the bendy Tarzan.
                    Congrats again on the winnings

Congrats Brian, very nice indeed! I'd go for the frame as well, I bet that would look good up in your toy room.

Hmmm I dunno. Is it printed on all sides with identical images? I'd be kinda inclined to get Oscar or someone to do a case for it and display it made up.

It would look great on your AJ shelf and you could stand boxed or loose figures or outfits on top. It was designed to be a three dimensional prop after all. I've seen lots of Star Wars framed box flats etc and they are often a little too asymmetrical for my taste, what dimensions would it be framed? A mate has a gigantic vintage Millennium Falcon printer's proof framed and it is just flat-out too big.

                            Vote One Boxey.

                            Cheers,

                              Grrrr, devil's advocate!

After much thought, I went with the frame, for now. My investment in the frame was minimal, I needed to keep it out of harm's way and I would have no issue with getting rid of it should I decided to invest in an acrylic case. I'm still talking to local manufacturers about that.

Once I was done framing it, I hung it above my desk and it really looks smashing, so it'll stay there for the next few months.
