Mego Eat 2 T-shirts

Hey guys, we are gonna take shirt orders. Who is interested? Ideally we need 24 minimum again. If we get 24, we will have to decide on one style for everyone. Meaning we all get hoodies, or we all get short sleeve. If we don't get 24, we will go another route and the options may change from there. Please see this thread:

I'll get one. I like the hoodie, but I could get the short sleeve if that is what everybody else wants.

I'm leaning towards hoodie to but would go with whatever is best for group.

I too prefer the hoodie. The price will depend on if we get the 24 minimum or not. Here is the deal: my company requires 24 shirts minimum to even place an order. I am estimating the cost to be $23-$25

However, if we don't make the 24, I can order blank shirts which mikeMc5 and I have been discussing a plan B in case we don't make the 24 count. The cost of BLANK SHIRTS - with no printing will be about $19-$21 each. At that point I don't know the cost as the printing would be done outside of my company.

Bottom line is that price will depend on quantity.

Looks like the hoodie is the more popular of the two. Personally I like it better too. Just to point out though, this is a T-shirt hoodie, not fleece or anything. Basically it was the closest I could find in my catalog to 3/4 style shirts that wasn't so thin it was see through. The first sample I ordered had this trouble. These hoodies are thin, but just regular T-shirt thin. I would say they are quite comfy too...

Ok, talked to capnmike and it looks like we ain't gonna hit the 24 order minimum. I see 10 orders at most.

If you wish, we can buy those hoodies at roughly $20 a piece from capnmike and then he brings them or ships them to me and I can find a reliable screen printer to make our 8-10 hoodie screens. Not sure how much it would cost, maybe $10-$15 on top of the original $20 for hoodie, just guessing. I will call around for prices and to see who would accept outside materials.

Worst case scenario, I may have One made up for myself so you can all see what it would look like and cost...then you can order some for after the mego eat

Why not put it up on something like http://www.cafepress.com and let people pick whatever shirt they want?

After discussing this somewhat with Mike, I wanted to see what you guys thought about holding off on the shirts until the next Mego-eat after this one. The thoughts are if we are having these events twice a year, perhaps we should just make the shirts themselves an annual thing. Just do them each February on the year mark of each Mego-eat we do.

We can still use the same design, we will just keep it on the shelf until the following event.

What do you guys think?

I love it! Quality over quanity. Does this mean that I got the design done way ahead of time? YEAH!
If Paul does stickers for this event, I will forgive him.
I can't wait for Mego-Eat #2. Seeing you all again, is going to be wonderful.

Yep. That means the design is done way ahead of time :-)

But yeah, if everyone is okay with that, it may be the best route to go. But we want to get some feedback from everyone if we can.

Okay, I think we will definitely old off on shirts for this meet. Feel free to wear the shirts from the last event though. That's what I'm gonna do. And if anyone is interested, I still have a couple of shirts from the last order. Both blue and I believe XL. If interested, let me know and we can work something out for them.
