Glue recommendations for Mego body repair?

I have a red-bodied Human Torch, but he has a broken foot. Has anyone had any luck using glue to repair a broken Mego body? It's been a very long time since I've tried to glue a body (without much luck), so I wasn't sure if there were any new products that work particularly well, or if I'm just better off pulling the pin out and replacing the foot completely.

I bought that E6000 once, and it has never held anything that I have used it on. I even had a thread about how it didn't work on a ripped Mego neck plug.
I have not tried it on a foot though.

Not sure how it would work for a foot, but I did a repair to an arm pin on a Hulk figure that worked great. I just used good old fashioned super glue. Can't even tell it was ever broken. But with it being a pin repair, the mended area is not visible either. But it functions like new and you can't tell anything was done.
              Looking for:

--Lion Rock "Mr Rock's" shoes/ boots (these may also be the same as the lion rock monster line boots)

              --Mystery Astronaught

Just a quick update: I bought some E6000 as suggested and used it to glue the foot of that Human Torch. I don't know how long it's supposed to take to cure completely, but I let it sit a few hours and, while it's holding at the bottom of the crack, the top of the crack flexes a little when I carefully bend the ankle. I put another dab in there and we'll let it sit a day and see how it goes.

I also bought a Pulsar this morning at a flea market and a piece of the mask was cracked off along the neck. E6000 worked pretty well to repair that... just need to figure out how to get the mask itself to hold on, since the little pieces that attached the mask to the head are broken off and long gone.
