Add this to the "mego mistakes" list! Amigo with wrong leg!

Hi, folks. I recently acquired a couple of Amigos and I noticed that one of them had an odd looking leg that didn't look quite right. At closer inspection, it's a right leg put onto the left of the figure, with a left foot! You can see from the photos that the calf curves outward and the knee goes the other way. HA! I know Mego is famous for putting Batman gloves on Aquaman figures, etc. but this really made me laugh. You can't tell from a front view (he's on the right in the front view, clothed photo) but you can see how odd the leg looks from the side view clothed photo! Just thought I'd pass along this oddity. I have four and a half Amigos total (one has Soldier Mike legs---long story) and this is the first one I've seen like this!

Mego made no mistakes!!! All of these things are intentional examples of how Mego was beyond our feeble understanding and how their creations, nay their art transcends simple toys.

What was this from? It looks like Action Jackson in a red outfit.

Y'know the weird thing is my knees (before the arthritis) did exactly that; bent back all the way to my heel. I actually had to work at not standing that way, since it just came naturally. My mom was constantly pointing it out and making me correct it.

Yes, I can see I believe that it's magic
If your mission is magic your love will shine true."

The Amigo was a foreign product. Completely different body from our AJ's. Arms are like 8 inch versions of Fighting Yank arms, rubber and wire bendy, if I'm not mistaken.
It's not a doll it's an action figure.

This must have been a somewhat common mistake on these guys. Stabilio had one like this a while back, same exact problem.
