The Mego Museum Gets a Facelift

In case you didn’t notice, we’re tinkering with a new look for the Museum front page! Let us know what you think and keep eye on the front page as it evolves. Our goal is to highlight more of our content from the past and give a bigger picture of what there is to find inside.

The near future will bring a gradual overhaul of the Mego Museum Galleries and Library with an eye toward making the site friendlier for mobile and tablet devices as well as updating photographs and information. We may even run spell-check!

Yeah, the menu looks a little weird in IE 7. Just tested and what's happening is that instead of running across the page in one row, the menu items run down the page like a list, and when you mouse over one of the links, the submenu pops up right on top and everything gets jumbled.

IE is kind of a mess of a browser. I'd try updating to version 9 and see if you have better luck. If updating to IE 9 doesn't make the menu show up properly, Mike, you might be better off switching to Firefox or Chrome. Both of those are more secure than IE is, too, so there's a benefit to switching.

I have a 13 year old Dell PC, w/ AOL 9.0VR . Actually I can see the tabs, but the words are squished together, so I have to click the forum tab before it completely loads, but it works.

What kind of Dino are we talking about? What browser?

Hm, not sure what the "squishing" is about, I haven't been able to reproduce that result, but I will look into it some more. IE 6-7 will definitely be a little weird but that can't be helped. I chose a pretty good theme to work with, it should be giving great results across most platforms and devices. The stores have some issues I am still futzing with.

Sharry, a 13 year old Dell running AOL 9 is just...wow....do you have trouble getting enough coal to power that thing?
