    Mego's Outlook for 1980

A new entry to the Mego Museum Library today is this 1980 Toy Fair preview of some of Mego's new products. Sadly, many of them including the cool Micronaut alien vehicles such as Iguanos and remote controlled VINCent from the Black Hole were never released.
The rest of the week on the Mego Museum will be devoted to Mego at the 1980 toy fair, stay tuned for updates.

The Star Trek figures look a lot cooler than the ones that were actually produced and released.

Good question, I imagine it worked as well as the Chem Toy webbing, which was good for a whole half hour of play.

If it did it would've been a neat toy

A snap together toy, it saw wider release in the UK, Germany and Canada than in the US.

is that web spinning spidey still available? I mean, does he show up on eBay or is he an impossible to find variant? I would love to own one.

He's not nearly as common as the other 12" versions but he's not impossibly rare either. You should be able to find one on ebay if you are patient. I've been outbid on one a few times. :(

Cool article, but oddly laid out, with different items in a particular toy line mentioned in separate places (eg. Micronauts toys mentioned in three different places, and Ampzilla and Sharkos aren't even mentioned as being Micronauts at all). Someone needed an editor.
