Building a better Treehouse

If you look closely at the interior molding of the treehouse side pieces, you can see holes at the "porch" roof and floor bottom.

It occurs to me that you could add dowels from side-to-side in these holes to further reinforce the playset & take stress off of the vinyl-covered cardboard ceiling & floor. (Just as Mego added dowels between the legs underneath.) I estimate the dowel length at about 11.5 inches, 3/16 diameter.

I love my treehouse!

UPDATE: Just assembled my treehouse with the extra dowels described above. It works very well and does seem to make the playset more sturdy/stable.
