I love the idea of paying homage to the old AJ by using the original head, but aged. Maybe with white hair?

Fellas I love the idea, but I am not sure if it makes sense financially. Let me cogitate on it... At the end of the day it's gotta make sense in dollars. I really like the idea of a gray templed "seasoned" AJ though.
This would make a nice Kickstarter incentive and the people who support it would get it.... We are about to announce the Kick Starter AJ items, so give me a little time to crunch the numbers.

By the way this is exactly the thinking and feedback we want. You make this work and when you get involved we all win!

Will the sculpt be done by the same artist who did your Capt. America and Fighting Yank heads?

you won't be dissapointed then... we are looking at a classic "bait and switch" correction... how often as kids did we think "man if ihe looked the box art, I'd be so happy". It always seemd the art department made it look way better than it actually was... Well after 40 years we are gonna try and correct that.

As a matter of fact the Kick Starter Version is aiming for just that... a classic version only available as a reward that's a tip o' tjhe hat to the old AJ

This is a license I would have jumped on if in the action figure business. I think it opens up a number of multilevel routes to go on. There are so many things that can be done to cover multiple uses.

You can get most of the way there with a POTA Astronaut. But if you want that *pose*, you need arms that swivel! Bring on the Type S!

The direction Dave and I are wanting to take with the new AJ line is basically G.I. Joe Adventure Team combined with Big Jim's P.A.C.K. This means you'll see elements of super hero, adventure, sci-fi and horror themes. If I could write down everything that Dave and I have brainstormed about your heads would explode, no kidding! We've got huge, huge plans for the line!

I think this is really cool! Especially since the line lends itself to actual play value for kids. Considering the numerous role playing games out there you guys could tap into the "Call of Duty" audiences as well.
