Hi guys ( 'n gals?),
I'm fairly new on these boards... but I already like them!
I'm a French guy living near Paris and collecting Mego WGSH and die-cast Popy toys.
Getting Mego material here in France is quite tough! So imagine when I discovered Mego Museum more than one year ago. By then, I couldn't register with my yoohoo mail, but here I am now!
I've spent hours in the Museum and now love Megos like never...
To me, Mego was related to that Batman figure I was dying to own when I was a kid watching the TV show aired on summer holidays. All I could get (after sacking every single shelf in the stores) was a Robin... In my child plays, he had to rescue Batman from a trap by finding him back... Well, the mission succeeded about 20 years later when I finally grabbed a 8' Batman on his Pin Pin Toys card!
Since, I'm trying now to get all the Pin Pin Toys cards and all the heroes and villains that weren't available in France... I would like to go into Trek, Apes, Oz and so many other licenses but hey, I guess we all!
One of my favourite part of the Museum is the Customego section, some of you guys are doing amazing job!
I used to make model kits and now I have many ideas of custom but few time these days... No doubt I'll find the force here to achieve something.
Cheers from ye old continent!
