Hi all,

My name is Kayleigh and I work at Aston's Toy Auctions, an auction house based in the West Midlands, UK.

I thought you might be interested to see an item that has just been sent into us; it appears to be the Black Knight Jousting Horse cover, which was found in a Planet of the Apes Action Stallion box on a Shadow horse. There's a few pictures and a bit more information about where it came from on our blog post:

Hmmm... I hope that's real, but it looks a lot like a custom one made by a member here (with a different head) several years ago.

Looks like plastic grommets at the eyeholes and ears. I didn't think Dave did that with his.
Good looking stuff, nonetheless. And an awesome hard to find horsie to boot!

yes I bid on this but there was a reserve so I gave up... wasn't sure of its authenticity..

here it was on ebay but it got stopped and my bid cancelled

I truly believe its genuine. There's too much Mego into it to think otherwise.
The trim looks right, the side where the strap runs underneath, the grommets, the material itself.
