I saw Lonnie today in the hospital and brought him newest megozine plus 1978 reimagined for reading material. He was in excellent spirits. AND I'm happy to report that even though he received many bone breaks in his extremities, they are all localized in just one leg and arm...
Which means no awkward, "Hey can you help me wipe down there, bro?"

Thanks for all the well wishes! And a super special great thanks to Mike and Ed for visiting me in the hospital!! Ed, thanks for the Spidey balloon! It was nice having him to watch over me and keep me in good spirits. Mike, thanks for letting me borrow the Mego mags. I'll return them when you take me home to get some other Mego stuff you want. I can't believe how cool the '78 re-imagined catalog is!!!! I would have wanted almost every figure from it! The Star Wars figures would have kept me getting toys, instead of the pathetic ones that were actually released, which made me get out of playing with toys because they sucked so bad!

Yeah, I got pretty messed up and am lucky to be alive! My scooter was totaled and my laptop computer died. I will post pictures of the scooter and maybe some x-rays as soon as I can...

At least six weeks until I can use my right leg. I'll see the doctor then and get more x-rays. Then they might let me use it again. Until then I'm not supposed to let it touch the ground. I got the staples and stitches removed about twelve hours ago. They also took my knee brace off for good. They want me to start moving my ankle and knee. So much more pain than before. The doctor that preformed the surgery said it's one of the worst shattered femurs he's ever seen. The last one near this bad that he worked on was over six years ago. I broke the entire thing from top to bottom. Nine screws and a rod. Five and a half hours in surgery just for the femur. I broke two other bones in my leg. And my wrist also broke. In the morning I have to go in and have x-rays of my wrist and the two pins in it. They might take the pins out of my wrist in three more weeks. My cycle insurance won't pay a penny for medical stuff or for my scooter. Hopefully I'll be able to walk normal when my leg finally heals. I'll give an update about my wrist when I get back from seeing the doctor in the morning. Boy, does my my leg hurt...

Glad to hear things are progressing, even though it seems quite painfully, but moving forwards nonetheless. As a fellow scooter rider, I was pi$$ed to hear about how you were run off the road. I hope your rehab goes as well as possible. I know you've got a long road, but hopefully things go well.

I saw the doctor about my wrist today and it's healing so well that the two pins come out in two weeks instead of three!! That was awesome news!
^^^^Please be extra super careful when riding your scooter, and if you don't have a fairing, you should get one! I'm pretty sure if I didn't have one, I would not have survived the crash.
