Corny variant with a really bright green tunic and black trim, red eyes… saw photographic evidence once on a cached Mexi-blog sometime ago that I've never been able to find again. Funny and peculiar backstory; I went to screen cap it and my browser bombed after all that diggin'. <Gahhh!> Never seen in any of the big Ape collections that I know of, but the guts tell me it exists along with several other Central and South American mysteries. Let's go hunting!

Although I like super heroes, I never got into collecting them until I joined this forum. When I joined, the only Megos I had were a few AJs and some POTA, and Spock, Scotty and Kirk and Tarzan.. Now I have Batman figures, Superman, Wonder Woman, Dynah-Mite, Starsky & Hutch, Fonzie, all of the Star Trek Bridge Crew, Spider-Man and Lainie.

When I started, the plan was just to pick up a few figures here & there, for nostalgia, to put on my shelf- The main few I wanted were Neptunian, Urko, Spiderman & Wolfman. Then I had to have all the monsters...... then I had to have all the Apes, then all the... well - you know how this story goes. Then one day I looked at my collection & noticed that I had Starsky & Hutch, Wizard of Oz, Happy Days & Waltons! ...... What the......

Oddly enough, Action Jackson! I didn't have anything against the guy, but I just had no nostalgia for him. But when I saw a beater so cheap, my love of Mego and appreciation of his place in their history made me bring his ugly mug home. Poor homely AJ...
