Any other Toy shows coming to New York or NJ?

I remember back to like 5-8 years ago.
They used to have some pretty cool small toy shows in New Jersey.

They would get cool celebs (i got Adam west and B ward there twice) the fonz, ray parks etc..
the would bring the batmobile and the green hornet car etc..

anyway - I have not seen that show posted any where in a few years
So was wondering if anyone knows of any toy shows or autograph shows coming up anytime over the next few week or during the summer?

I even recall a few huge shows way back like up in deleware and upstate new york that 100's of dealers

anyway - if you guys know of any thing please let me know.
    Thanks
    Vinny

Wizard's show is $60 just to get in the door. It's ridiculous to pay that kind of money for the "I want this show to be like San Diego Con" experience. The Long Island show looks promising...and it's not the 1st show that these guys are doing. Unfortunately these days it's hard to come by a decent comic or toy show. Most have about 80% - 90% of the dealers selling new stuff. I'm probably going to try the Long Island show. September looks like it will be Baltimore Comic Con for me. If you want a show that you can actually buy vintage comics and toys...that might be the one to go to. I went back in 2001 and found some great deals on Megos and comics...also got to meet a lot of Silver Age artists and writers...which is definitely NOT the norm at the NY shows these days.

I know somebody that told me they tried to get one going, but couldn't due to lack of interest.

I'd love a monthly, small one where people can buy and sell. A classic VFW style Toy Show without any bells and whistles and special guests, costume contests, etc. Just buyin' and sellin' old toys.

It is first weekend of every month. I stopped going as there was not much there. The guy seen on the show does sell there but generally has the same overpriced offering month after month.

If you're looking for autographs look no farhter than the long running Chiller Theatre expo in NJ
            http://www.chillertheatre.com/main.htm Next one is Oct.

I usually one on the two every year, but l can tell you October, Lee Majors, Tom Wopat, Shannon Elizabeth (of American Pie fame), Joan Collins, Barbara Carrera (Never Say Never Again) and Penny Marshall were there.

Also keep an eye an on the Great Allentown Comic Con, held inside a room Antique Mall. They've started bringing in guests and have some toys as well.

The shows they used to have here was the "Super Mega Show". They are still around but run mostly in Boston now.

Finally while the toy offering are light there are twice monthly comic shows in NJ held in alternating locations. These are are for the hardcore collectors as well they have some indy artists it is the box after box of omcis offered by dealers from around the tri-state area that are the "stars" of this show.

I laughed so hard when I saw that guy on Toy Hunter. The guy Jordan bought the Vespa and Kiss underwear from. He's always at the Jersey auction I sometimes go to and we're often bidding against each other.
