Mego love on Kevin Smith's Fatman on Batman podcast
Not a huge Smith fan (he runs hot and cold with me, mostly cold these days). But he does have a great Batman podcast called Fatman on Batman, where he interviews various celebrities and creators of Batman interest. I've been digging through the backlog, and found something I thought I should pass along here, even if the episode is nearly a year old.
On this particular episode Smith interviews L.A. DJ and actor Ralph Garmin, who is a huge Batman fan. The conversation eventually steers toward toys and collectibles, and mention of the Mego Batcave. The exchange is quite funny and easy for folks here to relate to. Also, Garmin's mom ROCKS. She sounds a lot like my Mom, going that extra mile for her kid.
The language is pretty blue at times (it's Kevin Smith), but worth it for the Mego shout-out.
