Saturday morning I went to the auto parts store near me to get a wheel hub for my wife's car, and standing against the register I see a beat up Iron Man with no gloves, a 12" Mego Spidey, and a Capt. America. So after inquiring about the part I needed I point to the Megos and say to the guy working "those are pretty cool". So the guy says he picked up a whole box at a yard sale on his way into work that morning and pulls out the box to show me. Inside the box was a Kid Flash missing one glove (Although that glove may have been in there as he hadn't gone through everything yet), 12" Luke and Darth Vader Kenner figures, Super Joe, Hulk, and a bunch of other figures. I said it looked like he got a good deal, and he tells me the whole box cost him $10. More vintage goodies in that one box than I find at any flea markets or yard sales all summer. I told him to check out the MegoMuseum here if he wanted to find out more about the stuff. He said the toys were a little before his time but he bought them because they were cool and he plans on keeping them.

He said he bought them to keep, not to sell. I was interested in the Super Joe for a custom I want to make though.
