Mego Meet question

Hey guys,
So I'm fairly new to the forum and have never been to a Mego meet. Its looking like I can only go on friday but I'm only a couple hours away. My question is will the dealer room be open that evening or is it just for set up? Just looking to pick up some quality Megos along with meeting everybody.

we set up Friday as people trickle in - some minor dealings occur, but Saturday is the big day and all the events.
If you can do Saturday - you won't be sorry.

You should come in as early Friday if you can. Maybe when the museum opens or around lunch time. Especially if you have the day free to just hang out. Some people come as early as Thursday evening. Then they set up and hang out & talk Friday all day. They sell stuff too but at least it's not just a stop & shop visit. If you can hang out much of the afternoon and stay in the evening for the Pizza Party you'll probably enjoy it more if Fri is the only day you can visit. The days before Saturday are more laid back.

Saturday is better, but if you can't do that and you've never been to a Meet I think you'll enjoy Friday. Many people aren't set-up until late afternoon, and a few don't set-up until Saturday morning.

Friday is a great day because it isn't as busy with events as Saturday is.
