Hello, I'm going to check out the Brimfield Antique Show (Flea Market) in Massachusetts this week. I've never been there before and don't know what to expect. Is there anyone here familiar with it? Will I find vintage toys, or more specifically, MEGOs?

I went there back in the 90's when I was working in Boston. I had so much fun. It was like 5 days and each day they opened a different section and was very crowded. I actually found some Mego there. Highly recommended (assuming it hasn't changed since then).sigpic WANTED: Boxed, Carded and Kresge Carded WGSH -
I've been several times and have a couple of friends that are setting up. Basically they shut the town down 3 times a year and hold one of the largest Antique flea markets there is.
There are like 8-10 fields that open up over the first 3 days or so. There are a couple of free ones but expect that there will be a fee for entering each one. Usually between $2 and $5. I haven't been in a couple of years but it was really crowded when the doors open on a new field.
You will definitely find vintage toys and there will be Megos, but deals will need to be searched for. Like any flea you'll see $50 naked batman's and a box of vintage Star Wars figures for $10. I will say wear the most comfortable shoes you own and do not go buy a brand new pair and think you're going to break them in there. The road is about 2.5 mile long. On a good day you will probably walk it both ways twice. You'll cover about 12 - 15 miles on a full day. If you want to avoid walking 2 miles to the fields themselves be there around 4 am. By sun up the parking is usually filled up any where near the fields. It's not a doll it's an action figure.Comment

I have been to Elephant Trunk and I am about an hour and a half away and it was worth every minute of the drive for me. The prices were good on everything I bought and I bought a lot of 80's and 90's toys and I did manage to find some mego last time I went. I also picked up some pretty cheap comics that were in real good condition and I mean old 10 cent comics.Looking for Mego Thor Helmet and Hammer.
