Someone new has taken over the reigns and I have recently restarted doing some prototype and other mego related items. I haven't tried to load him down with the shirts yet, until he gets his feet under him and used to the regular routine. He had no print shop experience but is a great manager of people. He's come a long way and has gotten most of the old customer base back. I have one shirt order to do for a member, once I do get a chance, and have considered doing past Mego Meet/Suite shirt designs as some members have requested replacements for shirts they've destroyed from over use. I also could use some replacements for myself. I never actually did my 2012 shirt at all but have the design done.It definitely wont be done for June though.
Sorry to hear about your friend. Keep me posted when the time comes again

            I can't get a break

why is this thing only from 10-6?
I have a family B-day party to bring the kids to - it is early 12 - I was going to leave the party about 2 and go to the show.
but by the time I get there it will be after 4. if it was open until like 8 I would go. I would spend more time in the car one way than I would at the show.

Also it looks to be just the 1 day for the event.
I wish they would have waited until next week and made it the whole weekend.

I really wanted to restock some pieces from the doc, and hopefully snag myself a fathers day gift

but looks like the toy gods are upset with me
I could not go to the meet
and now I can't even get to something that is close by :(

I am lame, I know. I am a little less than an hour away, but I am on the fence about going. A part of me is more interested in garage sale hunting rather than being cooped up in an over crowded convention. With most of the local collectors and dealers being there, I might make some killer scores!

              I might go though. I don't know.

Den82 - do you do ok at the garage sales?
I have never found one good toy at one - so just curious. I know some members see megos and star wars all the time. I wish I could be that lucky

best luck I have had was at a flea market - I got a original mint captain america shield for 15.00
guy had it mixed in with a bunch of captain action parts - had to argue with him for 20 mins trying to explain it was mego not CA - once i showed him pics on my phone he dropped the price from 25 to 15 which was a sweet deal.

but other than that no luck :(

Loved seeing Berto, Doc and the others... It was like a mini Mego meet. I wasn't terribly impressed with the show. There were only 2 Megos Action Jackson. My kid had a blast though with the Star Wars and GI Joe characters.

It's not a doll it's an action figure.

I had a great time at Eternal con too. rode down with Chuck and Mike. It was good to see Berto, Doc and John again, and meeting Mark, Vinny, and a few others whose names I'm going blank on at the moment (sorry, hard to get all the screen names and real names straight sometimes, lol ). I got some neat stuff, including a Build-a-Hero kit from Doc for my 7 year old son. He's so excited to ge started on it, what a great item. I'll post some pics when he's done.

Hi all! I'm Andrew, by the way, and it was nice to get to see you all at the Eternal Con! Mark, Chuck, Mike, Berto, VinMan and Spyweb007, it was nice talking to you all. And, of course, Doc Mego himself Mr. Paul Clarke....You're the man!!
