As many of you know, in February of 2012, I ran into a problem with an individual living out of Ottawa who did not deliver on goods promised after receiving a payment from me.
This event led to me starting a blog site which was meant primarily to establish a chain of evidence and to document events concerning this individual and the money which I was owed.
I am happy to report that I received payment in full roughly 30 minutes ago. This matter had just about been forgotten until I met an individual at a recent toy show who was similarly taken by this person.
Knowing there was another victim and possibly more seemed to be the spark I needed to continue what I had already begun, and it just so happened that an update to the threads (both in the watch out sections of RS and the MEGO buzz) earlier this month led to the discovery of some new information which really lit the fire under this persons feet so to speak.
There were several members (which I have intentionally not mentioned to respect their privacy, although they are welcome to chime in) who volunteered to help from the day I first started the thread here. Their assistance ranged from providing valuable information to providing the kind of feedback and support which did much to inspire me to pursue this matter in an unrelenting manner.
All said, my gratitude extends further than just these MEGO community members. I personally want to thank everyone here, and I'd like to take this moment to let those who supported the initiative of creating awareness around this individuals activities know that it is possible to succeed when persistence is motivated by doing the right thing.
