Today's entry into prototype week is a submission by Ray Miller, who did some digging an uncovered the evolution of the killer Micronauts vehicle The Hornetroid. It's an interesting look at how many changes can be made to a toy before it gets to the store.

Heh heh... Lee told me that he's actually pretty much colorblind, so he just made up colors as best as he could but was far from certain if they were any good or not.

i love the prototypes. ray the micronught are more ppealing to me after seeing me of yorus at megomeets and seeing the prototype's. theyrelly are cool. thanks for sharing. mike

The Hornetroid is my all time favorite ship design. Sure glad they didn't stick with those prototype colors.
