Mr. Mxy Belt Question

Hey Gang,
I picked up a type 2 Mr. Mxy today but the belt is loose and sags down on it I was wanting to know is there a way to shrink the belt with maybe a blow dryer or something or am I just stuck with it being streched out?

True I may take it to Mom's and have her do it she is really good at sewing stuff up.

This is what I would do. No hair-dryers--you may warp it.

It takes longer to thread the needle than sew it. You use all of 3 stitches to re attach it.
