I am currently on vacation in winnipeg Manitoba and today I am heading to the Osborne village flee market. I scored a few megos in the past. I hope to report some good news later today. Sometimes the hunt is just as exciting as the find.

Good luck, and remember... to be talked about in a jousting way is far more flattering than to not be talked about at all. And remember not to squeal like Ned Beatty when you see a killer deal on one of those flea tables. It hurts your negotiating power!INEPT VINTAGE WISENHEIMER

Maxxs collectables on portage avenue had a few worlds greatest the last time I was in there.“When you say “It’s hard”, it actually means “I’m not strong enough to fight for it”. Stop saying its hard. Think positive!”Comment

All of the fleas within fifty miles of my house are very well educated on the value of anything Mego. No deals to be found around here. Now, my mother found a set of five loose, minty Apes a few years ago in Powdunk Kentucky antique shop for twenty dollars. I ended up trading them, but that's probably my one and only Mego deal for my lifetime.I almost had a psychic girlfriend but she dumped me before we met.
If anyone here believes in psychokinesis, please raise my hand.Comment

There are no TRUE flea markets even left in this area. Just Peddler's Malls and a few antique shops. Haven't had any Mego luck at any of them in a LONG time.

I'm an old flea market shopper. In the early '70s I would ride my bike each Saturday morning to an outdoor flea market in town and always come home with a stack of old comic books for a buck or two. I still stop at the antique malls on occasion but rarely find anything that's not overpriced. I've had pretty good luck with Megos in the last few months finding a Batman sans cape and belt for 8.00, and most recently a shortless Robin and a complete Hulk for 15.00 each.Comment
