Mego figures in Argo, noticed something...

Saw Argo finally last night, it's a compelling, well made movie. It throws facts to the wind (and Canucks under the bus) but I still liked it. In the long glorious pan at the end I did notice one little thing.....

How'd he get there? I guess you could argue that Affleck's character went to England or something but it kind of amused me to see him.

And an X-Wing in "played with" condition.

Yeah saw the movie last night also...and while I went and checked out all the liberties Ben and crew took with deleting/erasing facts, it was still a great movie.

Saw all the toys at the end and forgot to mention something here. In the IMDB goofs it says the Jawa and Sandpeople figures are in the wrong position on the plinth. Which you can see in your pic.

I enjoyed seeing all the Planet of the Apes Megos. What I love about the movie is that it put John Chambers name back in the spotlight.

Neat! A beat-up X-Wing but a Spock that still has his belt and phaser is probably pretty far-fetched though.

What is the silver 3 3/4" figure in the corner behind the Space:1999 guy?

That's a death star droid, or at least I think it is. Haven't thought about that character in years.

Looks like IG-88 to me, but I'm far from a SW expert. Never had one figure as a kid.

                      Death Star Droid.
There was one in the Jawa Sandcrawler in more or less the same position. What a "hommage" to George Lucas...

That's too funny. A Death Star "type" droid was just on Clone Wars last week. It even says: "Jaymontucka".
If a Mego figure of God did not exist, it would be necessary for EMCE to invent him.

The death Star Droid was the poor mans C3PO...at least it was for me. He played threepeo's part till I finally got one.

Is it just weird that all three Megos there were all recently re-released?
