Owning a carded broken figure would bug me to no end. I'd sell it use the money toward an unbroken, non grey headed Mr Fantastic. Opening a Pin Pin carded Mr Fantastic isn't exactly toy collecting sacrilege though.

I have a Mego Kirk on card with a broken leg and I won't open him, a Robin leg would rattle around in the package like a Trek leg but Mr Fantastic has the body suit holding it in place so I wouldn't do it but that's just me

If you do open him smell him to see if he has that new Mego smell I remember as a kid !!!
