Just a couple of weeks till Mego-Eat...

Getting closer to the gathering of (mostly) mego museum members and family on sunday feb. 24, 11-3 at Vancouver Pizza Co. in downtown Vancouver, Wa. Looks like our custom shirts are gonna happen (yay!) I'm pretty excited that a core group of mm members have already contacted me with their intention of attending. Like I said this will be a private event and therefore the restaurant will be closed to all other customers, so we can enjoy all things mego without the gawkers. 10 beers on tap, mostly microbrews and great food, including veggie, vegan and gluten free options.

Working on my vintage toy connections in the pdx area in order to contribute to the trade/swap area of Mego-Eat. Below is a picture of my first contact, some mego, and a lot of loose old gi joe stuff. Don't know squat about old gi joe so i will happily sell or trade them off cheap for the show, especially since a lot of customizers will be there so i will keep trade prices dirt cheap cuz they will break em up for their own purposes. I've got another vintage toy vendor to meet Sunday and then another next week and I'm pretty confident they will have more mego stuff I can get cheap and pass along for Mego-Eat. I will still be putting on display my wgsh collection with packaging and I will be bringing some stuff for potential trade too...
Same weekend as PDX Wizard Comic Con. Make a weekend of it!

Your new individual mego stands look great! Bring those please! And that acrylic stand that holds both a boxed mego and a loose mego is genius! Bring those please! I'm interested in both!

There will definitely be the above items you mentioned available for trade/sale. I am presently working on my A-1 mego source. Like I said earlier, be SPECIFIC on your wants as some may ony bring what they think is being seeked.
