Why have type 1 bodies never been reproduced?

I'm sure there's a market for them just as much as type 2 repros, since most type 1 suits are too small on type 2 bodies.

    Any thoughts?

      Hmmmm....

I'm betting on the rivets too. It's too difficult finding a suitable replacement for the home-brew market.

^ And that is coming from someone who used to be called Type 1 Kirk

I love Type 1 bodies for vintage Megos...but probably would not buy any if they were reproduced.

Not sure how Type 2-like bodies are put together but I imagine you don't have to string them together by hand like you would a Type 1. So I would guess less labor is used for a Type 2.

There is no shortage of t-1 bodies. No reason to make new ones.

I would like to se Type 0 bodies reproduced. No metal rivets, all the looks of the T1.

Me too. Aren't they sturdier than the type 2 because of the plastic pins?
When I first started collecting Mego's type 1's were all I went after. My Spidey, Lizard, Iron Man and Cap are all type 1.

IMO the wrist joint just looks too clunky on the T1's. Nostalgic but terribly dated.

Many T1 figures wont even stand without leaning them ... and they can't sit either.

They're not very good if you're planning on taking the figure out of the package
