Very cool. I laughed at how the text reads in English above the Waltons figures.

    "Die Waltons"
Common sense is not that common.

It looks like the Trek figures are going to battle the Waltons!

Doesn't seem like the American West figures would be popular outside The US, Canada and Mexico

Actually, it's the opposite. Europeans love (or at least they did) Westerns. Most major boys toylines had that component including madel man, GI Joe and Big Jim.

              Interesting,

I just can't imagine anyone from Europe even knowing who Davy Crocket was

Well, we like European Knights, so I guess it's kind of the same thing.

The traditional American "Cowboys and Indians" is very popular in Germany. The American folk heroes as well as the characters like Winnetou and Old Shatterhand created by German author Karl May.

Anyone else notice the Trek figures are holding their Phasers backwards?
You are a bold and courageous person, afraid of nothing. High on a hill top near your home, there stands a dilapidated old mansion. Some say the place is haunted, but you don't believe in such myths. One dark and stormy night, a light appears in the topmost window in the tower of the old house. You decide to investigate... and you never return...

I'm thinking Topsy was the distributor in Germany, I'm not sure many stores needed a Tellex.
