The Thing arrives safely
After a nearly 35 year wait the Thing is now safely in my collection. He arrived today at 3 00 pm local time. I was down stairs on the computer logged onto the megomuseum of course when I heard the dogs going crazy. I rushed upstairs and there was a box form Mego Mark sitting in the mailbox. My heart pounded as I opened the package and there was the Thing in all his glory. I want to thank Mark for selling me such an awesome figure. I hope to buy more from him in the future. I have to go now as I have a blister card and bubble awaiting the Thing as well as a spot on my wall next to the Human Torch.

Isn't a great feeling getting something like that in the mail. Kinda like Christmas when when we were kids huh. Be sure to post a pic of him when you get him up on the wall.

It is like 1975 all over again at Christmas except this time I am not playing with the Megos. I am starting to get some of the Megos i always wanted but just never could either afford or find when I was a kid. I will definetely post some pics when Mr. Fantastic also arrives. If I could just find an Invisible Girl at a decent price. Anyone out there have one for sale? Repro parts like boots etc are ok.Comment

The Thing is now carded and on display on my Mego wall. I will post pictures of him later tonite. Thank you to everyone who said some kind words. Still looking for a Batman head a Robin cape and some white boots to complete my custom Space Ghost who will also be posted in here tonite.Comment

Thing.JPG Here is a picture of the Thing in his new home on my Mego wall next to the Human Torch. Mr. Fantastic is scheduled to join him shortly. Just need Invisible Girl now. The emerald knight made me laugh. That would be kinda cool to put an empty card up saying she is useing her powers. Who could really argue with you?Comment
