Plastic Snaps Batman

So I bought a cloth emblem Batman a while back and when it got to me I gave it a quick look and then put it in my display case. I just decided to give it a closer look and when I saw the snaps they happened to be white and plastic. now I know there are Batman and robin plastic snap figures but thats all I pretty much know. Im interested in learning the background on the plastic snap variations such as how rare are they, are they some sort of late run?, average price, etc...
