    Recovering from Sandy's visit

I was extremely lucky - Hurricane Sandy felled no trees in my neighborhood.
We only lost power for 36 hours, and cable for 48.

Driving around Plainview and Hicksville, and watching the news, I see that
many Long Islanders have very mature trees now adorning their living rooms.

For anyone who placed an order on www.drmego.com in the past week,
please be patient. My wife is working 16 hour shifts at the electric company,
and the schools will be closed at least until Monday, so I am Mr. Mom instead
of Dr. Mego. I will try to get everything out the door within the next week.

Glad you're OK. We were fortunate as well. Just some large branches blocking the driveway which are now being cleared.

Very glad your safe and sound. All the best in the recovery efforts and the toll it can take on you and yours with the wife's job.

Toys can definitely wait - and be sure to take extra care of your wonderful spouse during this time with those hours she is putting in.
