Toy Show this weekend in Toronto

Totally forgot about this one, the Collector Society is one of the better run shows in Canada but they've had some venue problems. I plan to show up and give away Rack Toys promotional materials.

Some of the dealers that show up for this, don't show up at any other shows, so it makes for some neat stuff. Last year a guy had a pile of vintage marvel comics stuff I've never seen before.

Met up with Samurainoir today at this show. The new venue is a gymnasium and it's crowded but it was packed with vintage toys.

Yeah, they moved from the skyway to a military base three years ago, some crap happened and now they're in a gym. The Toy Collector Society guys are good folks and they always treat people well so I hope they grow again.

I made the trip a couple of times when it was at the Skyway. There were some great deals to be had. The US/Canada money transfer being in my favor didn't hurt either. Don't find too many good toy shows anymore. I miss them alot.
