Some New Shots from the 74 Showroom Find

As luck would have it, I took a short vacation in Florida this past week and was staying about an hour from where Bruce lives and he was kind enough to invite me over to take it all in. I haven't seen Bruce since the late eighties, so it was really cool to reconnect.



While I know Bruce has done a great job photographing everything, I took some shots of things that interested me and would likely interest folks here.

While factory sealed, all of the apes seemed to have sloppily produced bubbles.





The Monsters were pretty darn swell.

No, that's just a G.I. Joe toy.

I've owned a couple of boxed Dinah's before but I've never seen her box with a hard plastic shell like this. Perhaps somebody else has. I love how she's posed here.



This is pretty neat, the bike on the box is obviously the wrong colour and missing the basket.

I got a bit of a contact high while I was there, I even got Bruce to photograph me holding one or two items. I'm not sure why I did that because they will never see the light of day.

I knew this would be hard to show, the bubbles are not properly trimmed, there is excess on the sides and sometimes it looks like they weren't cut properly.

Neat pictures Brian, I would like to see a whole museum gallery of pictures like these. It is neat looking back at the stuff that once was easily obtainable at one time.
